I backed Woody in Belgium in late June 06. I knew then he was a seriously special horse. After i broke him i gave him some time off as he had massive passes and was not strong enough to support himself. I started to bring him back in work and school him in Oct 06
I've produced him really slowing with loads of long and low slow work in the school and out hacking.
He is the ultimate athlete and is 4 *material.

He has three amazing correct lose rhythmical powerful floaty straight paces and could quit easily go to the top in dressage, like his Grand sire and his father. He consistanly got 8s in his Novice tests - in our first season of BE Eventing, with comments like" The one to beat-An amazing engine-Stunning athelete-A real prospect for the future". He is forward thinking and throws a lovely, scopey, tidy, quick, careful jump. He has a great brain and a lovely spirit, he always wants to please. He's jumped 1.50 at home with ease. He absolutely comes into his element when he goes cross country as he has the most amazing gallop and jumps in his rhythm he feels a million dollors. We were placed a few times at pre novice in our first season and jumped clear in a few novices, he finished in the top 20 % in 2008. I am absolutely delighted to keep the ride on him for next season too as his new owner Princess Hamad Al Sharqi wants to pursue dressage with him. I wish her many happy years with him, he's a great horse.
