We bought Skippy in July 07 unbroken in Belgium he was totally un-handled and quite a handful. Like his sire he has loads of blood, so wants to run all the time. All our work to date is slowly so he uses himself correctly. He is however an amazing athelet. His jump propels you into space. His paces are also fab when he slows down and uses himself, this is taking time and loads of patience, but its getting there. He was placed everytime out in the autume of 08 in his 3"6 hunter trials. He ran 4 Pre novices and jumped clear each time in 09. This horse has 4* potential as well as Grand Prix potential but he is a machine x country. I will however concentrate on his show jumping this year. He will definately have a very big career ahead of him. He is excellent to hack, load etc but needs to be under to be clipped.
